Wonder Man #8 (April 1992) is the eleventh chapter of Operation: Galactic Storm, the nineteen-part Kree/Shi'ar crossover that ran through the Avengers family of titles in 1992. Gerard Jones scripts, with pencils by Jeff Johnson and Stephen B. Jones and a Johnson/Terry Austin cover; the issue pairs Simon Williams with the Vision inside the Nega-Portal, where a conversation about the Scarlet Witch is interrupted by the discovery that the portal is a bomb, and the Starjammers are drawn into averting a nuclear escalation. The Vision appears here in his colorless post-resurrection form, a design collectors associate with the period. The story hands off directly into Captain America #398, and the chapter itself introduces no new characters and stages no origin or death.

Market activity is thin and almost wholly retail rather than auction. Copies trade on eBay and through mail-order dealers, most often as part of complete Operation: Galactic Storm crossover sets, where the crossover context rather than the individual issue drives the purchase. Certified examples are scarce on the census because the book does not support grading economics; the handful that surface are priced as completist material for registry-style Avengers or Vision collections.
