Book is sealed in original polybag with promotional insert (Marvel Action Hour preview) still attached, consistent with a factory-sealed 1994 promo issue. Cover shows sharp corners and clean edges with no visible creases, tears, or spine stress through the bag; slight bend visible at the top edge near the top-left corner. Colors appear bright and unfaded. Interior and back cover could not be assessed due to sealed polybag obscuring full inspection.

Len Kaminski scripts and Tom Morgan supplies art and cover for the second half of "Friends… and Other Enemies," a two-part story carried over from War Machine #8 in which Tony Stark and James Rhodes settle their dispute over the silver-and-gray armor design the hard way. The fight plays out on Stark Enterprises grounds with Bethany Cabe attempting to intervene, and closes with the Mandarin's hand visible behind events; Marvel used the issue as the on-ramp to the Hands of the Mandarin crossover that continued through Force Works #6 and War Machine #9. It is a well-constructed chapter of Kaminski's long run and a functional bridge between titles rather than a debut or origin book.
