Green Lantern #69 is a late Silver Age installment of DC's flagship space-cop title, part of the long first volume that reintroduced the Green Lantern concept with test pilot Hal Jordan as the ring-bearer of Sector 2814. By 1968 the series was a well-established fixture of DC's science-fiction superhero line, several years removed from Hal Jordan's 1959 debut and predating the socially conscious Green Lantern/Green Arrow reinvention that would arrive at the decade's turn. This is a straightforward mid-run issue rather than a first appearance, origin, or landmark creator turning point. Note that this is the Hal Jordan title, distinct from the 1940s Alan Scott Golden Age run that concluded far earlier at issue 38.

The book's market profile is that of a collected but abundant Silver Age series entry. The certified census is substantial for a non-key, and pricing stays notably flat across the mid grades, where fine and very-fine copies command little premium over one another. Value only begins to accelerate at the high end, where near-mint examples grow scarce and the top of the census thins out sharply. With no 9.8 recorded selling and only a handful graded, the ceiling is set by a rarity premium over the readily available 9.6 population rather than by broad demand.

This is a title-run and completist book rather than a speculative target.
