Cream band showing past the back's open side, widest near the top and narrowing to nothing about two-thirds down. Small tear with dark color showing in that band near the top. One short faint line at the spine on the back. Upper outer front corner slightly rounded.

Fantastic Four #328 (July 1989) arrived during the team's late-1980s stretch under writer Steve Englehart with pencils largely handled by Keith Pollard, a period defined by shifting rosters and lower-key storylines compared to the Lee/Kirby and Byrne eras that preceded it. The issue is a standard chapter in the ongoing FF continuity of the time rather than a spotlighted milestone, and it carries no first appearance, death, or origin story that price guides or collector consensus have singled out. Its interest lies chiefly in being part of a long-running, heavily collected core Marvel title rather than in any standalone significance.
Market data reflects that status: certified sales are thin and clustered at the top of the grade scale, with a modest and fairly flat price curve running from the high-70s subgrades up through 9.8. There is no meaningful premium differentiation across mid-grade tiers, indicating that demand is driven almost entirely by set-builders and CGC registry completists rather than by any narrative or historical hook. Raw copies in low and mid grades see negligible collector attention and trade close to bulk-bin pricing.
This book suits dealers filling out complete Fantastic Four Copper Age runs or registry collectors chasing high-census slabs rather than character or key-issue specialists. Below near-mint, it functions as inventory filler with minimal individual value; only pristine 9.8 submissions command any real premium, and even that ceiling remains modest relative to Marvel's more storied Copper Age output.
