Graded at 6.0 (FN) on 2026-11-04, from new photos taken out of the sleeve: front and back. Many small color-breaking ticks down the spine of the black cover. Upper left corner creased and worn. Tiny nicks along the upper right edge. Corners blunted with light rub across the black. Thin pale strip along the front fold.

Fantastic Four #177 arrived during Roy Thomas's mid-1970s writing run, pairing him with a young George Pérez on art duties and Joe Sinnott's veteran inks. The issue brings back the shape-shifting Impossible Man for a comedic return engagement while also folding in Texas Twister and the villainous Brute, giving the story a busy, character-heavy cast that reflects the era's fondness for crossover-style team-ups within the FF's own rogues gallery. It sits within Marvel's flagship Bronze Age Fantastic Four run but does not carry a first appearance, origin, or other landmark distinction.

Market data shows a typical long-tail Bronze Age curve: modest, stable demand through the mid grades with a pronounced spike only at the very top of the census. Sales activity clusters most heavily at 9.6 and below, with the 9.8 tier thin in both census population and completed sales, which explains the outsized premium collectors pay to secure a copy at the top of the pop report. Below 8.0 the book trades as a common, low-cost read with little grade-to-grade price differentiation until the top three grades.
