Cover shows sharp corners, strong glossy surface, and vivid unfaded color with no visible spine ticks or stress lines in this photo. Slight edge wear may be present at the top right corner but is minor. The book is in a protective sleeve, which limits full assessment of surface sheen and edge condition; interior and back cover were not assessed.

Alpha Flight #93 arrived near the tail end of the series' original run, cover-dated February 1991, with the team crossing paths with the Fantastic Four. By this point the book had cycled through several creative teams following John Byrne's original run, and this issue is written by Fabian Nicieza with art by Michael Bair, Mike Manley, and a cover by Butch Guice. The roster on display includes longtime Alpha Flight members Guardian, Aurora, Northstar, Sasquatch, Shaman, and Heather Hudson, joined here by Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman for a guest team-up story.
This is a standard late-run issue of a long-running Marvel Copper Age title, and it carries no first appearances, deaths, or other events that collectors track as landmark moments. The presence of the Fantastic Four adds modest crossover appeal for completists of either title, but it does not elevate the issue's standing within the character's broader publishing history. As a newsstand copy from a period of high print runs and declining direct-market attention to the series, it falls into the large body of Alpha Flight issues that trade near cover price rather than commanding premiums.
Demand for this issue centers on Alpha Flight and Fantastic Four completists filling out long runs, along with dollar-bin and bulk-lot buyers. Raw copies in any condition move cheaply and steadily as reading copies, while high-grade certified examples occasionally surface as a novelty for grade-chasers given how few copies of a book like this were ever submitted for certification. It is a book best understood as a supporting piece in a larger collection rather than a standalone target.
