Cover shows strong gloss and vibrant color with sharp corners and no visible spine stress or ticks; slight edge wear is possible but not clearly visible through the protective sleeve. No creases, tears, or stains are apparent on the front cover. Interior pages and back cover were not assessed, so grade is based solely on the visible front surface.

Alpha Flight #92 (Marvel Comics, cover-dated January 1991) is a late installment of the publisher's long-running mutant super-team title, which had launched in 1983 as a spinoff from Uncanny X-Men featuring the Canadian government-sponsored team created by John Byrne. By issue #92 the series was well past its early creative high point and its initial sales peak, having cycled through several writers and artists after Byrne's departure in the late 1980s; the book continued as a mid-list Marvel monthly aimed at the shrinking but loyal readership still following the team through its later, more turbulent storylines.
As a standard-edition Copper Age issue from deep in a long run, this book carries no first appearances, deaths, or landmark creative milestones that collectors track, and it was never a standout seller even in its own era. Its market profile reflects that: it circulates as inexpensive short-box and bulk-lot material, purchased primarily by Alpha Flight completists filling out a run or by longtime fans of the specific characters appearing inside rather than by speculators or key-issue investors.
Copies trade cheaply across the board, with raw examples common in dealer dollar bins and online multi-lot listings, and graded copies-even top-grade CGC 9.8 slabs-attracting only modest premiums due to low demand and a thin population of submissions. This is a reader's or completist's copy rather than an investment piece, best suited to collectors assembling the full Alpha Flight volume 1 run or those with an affinity for the team's later, lesser-documented chapters.
