Avengers volume two ran thirteen issues in 1996-97 as part of Heroes Reborn, the year Marvel outsourced Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man and Fantastic Four to Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios and Jim Lee's Wildstorm and restarted the characters in a pocket universe. Issue eleven falls in the back half, after Liefeld's departure, with Walt Simonson writing and Michael Ryan penciling over Sal Regla inks; the story leans on Simonson's long association with Thor, bringing Loki, the Enchantress and Odin against a lineup of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch and the Wasp as the line moves toward the World War 3 finale and the return to the mainstream Marvel Universe.

Commercially this is a late-1990s mid-run book from an era of high print runs and heavy speculator inventory, and it trades accordingly. The Heroes Reborn Avengers issues most often change hands as complete short runs rather than singles, and raw copies are bin material at nearly any grade because supply comfortably exceeds the collector base. Certified activity is effectively absent: there is no meaningful census presence and no recorded auction record for the issue in high grade, so the top bracket reflects what comparable non-key Marvel books of the period realize when someone chooses to slab one, a figure governed largely by the cost of grading rather than by underlying demand.

Buyers here are run collectors filling the volume two set, Simonson completists, and readers assembling the Heroes Reborn crossover in original issues. Because the raw brackets compress into a narrow band, condition matters far less than it does on keys, and a mid-grade copy is a practical purchase for anyone reading the arc. Upside is limited and would depend on renewed interest in the Heroes Reborn experiment or in Simonson's Thor-adjacent work; for a dealer, the sensible handling is inventory depth and set-building rather than single-issue promotion.
