Market behavior reflects that reference role. The book remains widely available at or near its original cover price through established mail-order dealers and shop inventories, and it moves most often as part of a run of the 2004-2005 handbook one-shots rather than as a standalone purchase. Certified copies are essentially absent from the census, so there is no price discovery at the top of the grade scale; what circulates instead is a steady supply of high-grade raw copies, since the cardstock cover and short print window kept most surviving copies out of heavy circulation. Demand is driven by Hulk completists and by handbook collectors assembling the full OHOTMU line, not by speculation.

Buyers are almost entirely readers, researchers and set-builders, which compresses the spread between grades: a copy with visible handling and a sharp copy trade within a few dollars of each other, and grading costs exceed any realistic certified premium. Dealers are better served treating this as inventory depth for Hulk sections and handbook runs, where a complete set of the 2004-2005 themed one-shots commands more attention than any single issue. Upside is limited and tied to renewed interest in the handbook format itself rather than to the character market.
