// Condition analysis
Cover art matches the debut Konga issue: chained giant ape looming over a panicked crowd, with 12¢ Charlton price flag and 'MAY' date at upper left. Visible defects include general edge wear and light chipping along the right and bottom edges, rounded/blunted corners (notably lower left and lower right), several light vertical crease/wrinkle lines through the ape's torso and lower right quadrant, minor spine wear with small ticks, and overall cover-gloss loss with light tanning at the margins. The book is bagged, and reflections/glare across the surface may hide finer creases or color breaks. Interior pages, spine ticks along the fold, and back cover were not assessed from this single photo.
