Cover shows good gloss and bright inks with strong color on the werewolf figure and background red sky. Minor wear is visible at the corners with slight blunting, and there appears to be a faint vertical crease near the spine area on the left edge; a few small spine stress marks are present but no major color break. The book is protected in a plastic sleeve, which limits full assessment of edge and surface texture; back cover and interior pages were not visible for grading.

Creatures on the Loose #30 marks the start of Man-Wolf's headlining run in Marvel's anthology horror/adventure title, following the character's introduction as John Jameson in The Amazing Spider-Man #124-125. With this issue the book shifted from a rotating jungle-adventure and monster reprint format to a serialized Man-Wolf feature written by Doug Moench, giving the character his first dedicated ongoing spotlight outside the Spider-Man titles. The cover is credited to Gil Kane, whose dynamic figure work was a mainstay of Marvel's Bronze Age line.

Demand for the book is driven almost entirely by Man-Wolf completists and Bronze Age Marvel run-builders rather than broad crossover interest, which is reflected in the flat, low-dollar pricing through the mid grades. Low- and mid-grade raw copies are inexpensive and readily available, making them accessible entry points for character collectors, while a true 9.8 commands a real premium owing to the small top-grade population relative to the overall census. Expect steady, unspectacular movement in the lower brackets with occasional spikes in bidding whenever a fresh high-grade copy surfaces.
