World's Finest Comics #130 arrived in December 1962 as part of the long-running Superman/Batman team-up era that had begun with issue #71, pairing DC's two flagship heroes in a single lead story while Green Arrow and Speedy carried a backup feature elsewhere in the book. Curt Swan's clean, classical rendering defined the look of this period of the title, and the issue is typical of the era's house style rather than a landmark unto itself: no first appearance, origin, or death is associated with this number, and it is not cited as a key in standard price guides.
The certified population is substantial for a book of this vintage, with 67 Universal copies recorded across 72 total graded, and sales activity is concentrated in the 8.0-9.4 range where the book trades as a well-collected but unspectacular mid-run issue. Demand is driven almost entirely by completists of the Superman/Batman team-up run and Green Arrow backup enthusiasts rather than by any single iconic image or character debut, which keeps pricing modest through the mid grades before rising sharply at the top of the census, where only a handful of 9.4s and above exist against the larger raw and mid-grade population.
This is a book collectors acquire to fill a run rather than pursue as a standalone grail, so it moves steadily but without urgency in low and mid grade, largely to World's Finest and Silver Age Superman/Batman-team completists. High-grade certified copies command a real premium given the scarcity above 9.4 and the total absence of recorded 9.8 sales, making a true gem-mint slab a genuine rarity that would likely draw competitive bidding among census-chasers rather than casual buyers.
