Cover-dated January 1991 and published under the Avengers West Coast title the series carried from issue #48 onward, #66 is the "Tunnel Vision" chapter of Roy Thomas's extended Ultron sequence. The team is ambushed by sentry robots and confronted by Ultron-13, the incarnation Thomas used to tie the Vision, the original Human Torch, and the android lineage of the Marvel Universe back together after the events of the earlier Vision Quest storyline. Art duties are split between Paul Ryan and Richard Levins over Danilo Bulanadi and Keith Williams inks, with Ryan supplying the polished, classically composed superhero work that defined the run's visual identity in this period. It is a competently executed serial installment rather than a debut or origin issue.
