Jeff Purves pencils with Terry Austin inking over him on both cover and interiors, and the script frames the Hulk not as protagonist but as a half-remembered figure of prophecy among the K'aitians, whose lives run at a different pace than Earth's. Supporting players Gorsham, Whully, Booly and Sister Marclark carry the narrative against the Grand Inquisitor Risuli, and the issue functions as a self-contained meditation on how legends outlast the people who inspire them. It is a widely liked chapter of the David tenure, but it introduces no lasting character and originates no storyline that later books built upon.

Market-wise this is a mid-run Copper Age Marvel book from a period of very high print runs, and it trades accordingly. Raw copies move as bin stock at conventions and on dealer sites, with little spread between a beaten reading copy and a solid mid-grade example, since demand is driven by run collectors filling gaps rather than by speculators.
