Cover shows sharp corners, strong glossy surface, and vivid unfaded colors with no visible spine stress or ticks. No creases, tears, or stains are apparent, and the book appears to be in a protective sleeve which suggests careful handling. Interior and back cover were not assessed, so grade is based solely on the front cover's excellent presentation.

Cover-dated September 1994 and produced deep into the run of Marvel's second ongoing Namor title, this issue is scripted by Glenn Herdling with cover and interior art by Geof Isherwood. It resolves the deception set up in the fiftieth issue, in which Llyra assumed the form of Susan Richards to conceive a child with the Sub-Mariner; here that child, Llyron, is aged to adulthood by undersea sorcery and presented as a rival claimant to the Atlantean throne. The issue also carries the death of Vyrra and appearances by Tiger Shark, Phoebe Marrs, Tamara Rahn, Carrie Alexander and Diane Newell, with the Oracle Inc. supporting cast still in play as the series moved toward its conclusion at issue sixty-two.

Market behavior follows the pattern of mid-1990s Marvel: enormous surviving supply in high grade, negligible scarcity pressure, and demand concentrated almost entirely in the character-first-appearance niche. Llyron is a recognized but second-tier addition to the Namor mythos, appearing later in Fantastic Four and Namor storylines without ever anchoring a major arc, so the book trades as a checklist item rather than a speculative target. Raw copies circulate freely in dollar boxes and through mail-order back-issue stock, while certified copies are uncommon simply because few submitters find the census fee worthwhile; that scarcity of slabs, not scarcity of the comic itself, accounts for the gap between the raw and certified brackets.

Buyers are Namor completists filling the 1990 volume, Atlantean-mythos collectors tracking royal-lineage characters, and registry-minded submitters who want a clean top-grade example of an underrepresented issue. Across grades the book behaves flatly: condition below the near-mint threshold barely differentiates price, so low-grade and mid-grade raw copies sit close together and are usually acquired as part of run purchases. Any meaningful upside is event-driven, tied to whether Llyron surfaces in future Namor screen or publishing initiatives, and until then the sensible acquisition strategy is raw run-fill with certified copies bought only when offered near slab cost.
