Cover shows strong gloss and sharp corners with only minor edge wear visible along the top and right border. A faint vertical crease/handling line is visible near the left edge of the cover, and there is slight whitening at the top left corner tip. No major creases, tears, or color breaks are apparent, and the spine appears tight with no visible stress lines in this view. Interior pages and back cover were not assessed.

Marvel Team-Up #108, cover-dated August 1981, arrived during the stretch of the series in which Iron Fist served as a semi-regular co-star alongside Spider-Man rather than the rotating cast of guest heroes that had defined the book's earlier years. The title had launched in 1972 as a vehicle for pairing Spider-Man with a different member of the Marvel Universe each issue, and by the early eighties it was being written by J.M. DeMatteis with art most often handled by Kerry Gammill, a creative team that gave this stretch of the run a more continuous, less anthology-like feel than the series' first hundred issues.

As a book without a first appearance, a notable death, or a widely cited cover, #108 sits squarely in the bulk of Marvel Team-Up's back half, the kind of issue that filled longboxes by the thousands and today trades near cover price outside of top-tier condition. Demand for the title is driven almost entirely by Spider-Man's ubiquity and by the handful of issues with genuine first appearances or landmark guest stars; an ordinary Iron Fist pairing from mid-1981 does not carry that kind of pull, and the newsstand printing here is the more common of the era's two distribution methods.

This is a reader's copy of a long-running team-up title, suited to Spider-Man or Iron Fist completists filling out a run rather than to investment-minded buyers. Raw copies move steadily but modestly across grades, with the real price separation occurring only at the high end where a pristine, well-centered CGC 9.8 becomes disproportionately harder to find; most collectors will encounter and price this book as a low-cost run-filler.
