Cover shows strong gloss and vibrant color with no major creases or tears visible; corners appear sharp with only minor rub at the extreme tip of the top left corner. There is a faint vertical crease/press line visible near the left spine edge and slight waviness along the top edge suggesting light handling. No writing, stains, or color breaks are evident in this image. Interior pages and back cover were not assessed, so grade is based solely on the visible front cover.

Published in August 1992, this was Marvel's inaugural swimsuit pin-up special, a magazine-format novelty that placed the publisher's heroes and villains in beach and poolside settings rendered by the era's leading artists. Marc Silvestri supplies the Storm cover, and the interior gathers pin-up work from a roster of top-tier talent active during the boom years of the early 1990s. The concept borrowed from the sports-magazine swimsuit-issue tradition and became an annual fixture for several years, making this first installment the template for the line.
