Cover-dated December 1985, Iron Man #201 picks up directly after the double-sized #200, in which Tony Stark reclaimed his company, ended Obadiah Stane, and debuted the red-and-silver Centurion armor. Scripted by Denny O'Neil with pencils by Mark Bright and inks by Ian Akin and Brian Garvey, "Sky Duel!" sends Stark back into the wreckage of his former Stark International headquarters and brings the West Coast Avengers into the story, keeping the Stark-Rhodes tension of the preceding run in play. It is the connective tissue of one of the better-regarded stretches of the title, but the milestone events, the armor debut, and the villain's death all belong to the previous issue.

Market behavior reflects that. The book is a run filler with no first appearance or death to anchor it, printed in the high-circulation mid-1980s and surviving in quantity, so raw copies trade at bulk and guide-minimum levels regardless of whether they are newsstand or direct. Certified activity is sporadic; what demand exists at the top of the grade scale comes from registry and set builders completing the O'Neil-Bright era, and the certified price is governed largely by the cost of grading and shipping rather than by scarcity. Newsstand identification matters little here because newsstand distribution still accounted for most of the print run in 1985.

Buyers are collectors assembling the post-#200 Silver Centurion stretch, dealers filling out long boxes ahead of any renewed screen interest in Stane-era continuity, and occasional high-grade specialists who submit clean copies in bulk. Low- and mid-grade examples are best sold in runs or lots, where transaction costs do not swallow the proceeds, while the spread between a mid-grade raw copy and a top-census slab is wide in multiples but narrow in absolute dollars. Anyone considering submission should weigh fees against realistic outcomes; the book rewards patience only in the highest grades, and even then it remains a supporting piece rather than a driver of a collection.
