Iron Man #18 arrived in October 1969 as part of the title's maturing late-Silver-Age run, written by Archie Goodwin with pencils by George Tuska, the art team that defined the character's look through much of this period. This is a book for run-builders and Iron Man specialists rather than key-issue investors: raw low- and mid-grade copies trade cheaply and steadily as filler for long boxes and want-lists, while high-grade 9.6-9.8 slabs see occasional strong results driven by census scarcity at the very top rather than character significance. Expect thin but steady demand across grades, with the top end most sensitive to the small number of superb copies that surface.
