Heavy overall wear: pronounced vertical crease running through the center of the cover with color break across the creature's face and torso, multiple diagonal creases in the upper yellow field, and general surface abrasion/scuffing. Edges show chipping and small tears along the right and bottom margins, corners are blunted and frayed, spine shows stress and rubbing, and the paper is uniformly tanned/browned with a faint ring-shaped stain at left. Ink or marker mark appears next to the 12c price box. Book is bagged, causing plastic glare that may hide additional defects; interior and back cover were not assessed.
