// Archive commentary
Ghost #16 is a 1997 issue of Dark Horse Comics' ongoing series starring Elisabeth Cawley, the ghostly vigilante created by writer Eric Luke and artist Adam Hughes for a 1994 Dark Horse Presents/mini-series before graduating to her own title. Eric Luke scripted the bulk of the ongoing run, threading the character's amnesia-and-revenge premise through a longer arc; by issue #16 the series was well into its second year, past the character's introductory stories and further from the Hughes-drawn material that generated the initial collector interest. It is a mid-run chapter rather than a foundational one, with no first appearance, no origin recap, and no major creative-team milestone attached to this specific number.
