Cover shows sharp corners, strong glossy surface, and no visible spine stress or ticks in this photo. Colors appear bright and unfaded with clean edges; the Spider-Man corner box (indicating direct edition) is intact and crisp. The book is in a protective sleeve which limits full assessment, and interior pages and back cover were not evaluated, so a small allowance is made from a perfect grade.

Fantastic Four #333 (November 1989) arrived during the twilight of Steve Englehart's run on the title, as the book was folded into the company-wide "Acts of Vengeance" crossover event, in which Marvel's villains were shuffled to face heroes outside their usual rogues' galleries. The issue features the core team of Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing navigating the fallout of that event, with interior art from the era's regular art team. It carries no first appearance, no origin, and no landmark creative shift, and it predates Walt Simonson's celebrated writer-artist tenure that begins a few issues later.
Market data reflects a book of modest, functional demand: a small certified population (28 Universal copies across a 30-count census) with only a handful of recorded sales at any grade, and prices that stay flat and low until the very top of the census, where CGC 9.8 copies command a real but modest premium over 9.6 and below. There is no meaningful raw-copy market activity to speak of, consistent with a Copper Age crossover tie-in that was heavily overprinted for direct-market speculation and has since settled into long-box ubiquity.
This is a completist's or crossover-collector's book rather than a headline acquisition: Fantastic Four full-run collectors, Acts of Vengeance crossover collectors, and buyers rounding out Englehart-era runs are the primary audience. Raw copies in low and mid grade trade for a few dollars and rarely see competitive bidding, while the tightly graded top of the census (9.8) draws modest but real premiums from condition-focused census chasers. It is not a book that appreciates independent of the broader Fantastic Four or Copper Age market.
