Fantastic Four #206 arrived during Marv Wolfman's run on the title, continuing a multi-issue Skrull political thriller that pitted the calculating villain Doctor Sun against Empress R'Klll amid a civil war for the Skrull throne. Keith Pollard handled pencils with inks from longtime FF veteran Joe Sinnott, giving the issue a polished, house-style finish consistent with Marvel's late-1970s cosmic output. The Invisible Woman carries much of the human-team presence on a roster of Skrull political and military figures – Dorrek VII, Adora, Comet, Crime-Buster, Diamondhead, and Hagar the High Judicator – reflecting the series' occasional pivot away from Earth-based adventures into extended alien-empire storytelling.

The issue's market profile is that of a well-populated, low-demand Bronze Age Marvel: a large certified census relative to its sales activity, a flat price curve across mid grades, and only modest lift at the top of the grade scale. There is no first appearance, death, or landmark creative milestone attached to this issue, and the storyline, while a coherent piece of the Skrull civil war arc, has not developed the kind of standalone collector demand that drives premiums independent of grade. Pricing therefore tracks condition and scarcity of high-grade census copies rather than character or story significance.

This is a completist's or Bronze Age run-builder's book rather than a speculative or investment-grade purchase. Expect this title to remain a stable, low-volatility filler in dealer inventory, purchased primarily to complete series runs rather than for its own key status.
