Graded at 7.5 (VF-) on 2026-11-04, from new photos taken out of the sleeve: front and back. Pale strip beside the fold the full height of the front, even in width. Long faint vertical bend down the middle of the back. Two small dimples in the left margin of the back. A few light rubs and a fine scratch in the black at the top of the front. Top right corner slightly frayed, other corners close to sharp.

Fantastic Four #157 (April 1975) arrived during the team's mid-1970s stretch under writer Roy Thomas and penciler Rich Buckler, an era that continued the cosmic-scale storytelling Stan Lee and Jack Kirby had established a decade earlier. The issue is part of a multi-issue arc pitting the FF against Firelord, one of Galactus's heralds, with the Silver Surfer drawn back into the conflict.
