Eternals #3 (December 1985) is part of the short-lived second Eternals ongoing series, launched a decade after Jack Kirby's original 1976-78 run introduced the cosmic race of super-beings created by the Celestials. This iteration was written by Peter B. Gillis with art by Sal Buscema, continuing storylines involving the Eternals' ongoing conflict with the Deviants and their uneasy place among humanity and the wider Marvel cosmology.
