Cover shows strong gloss and sharp corners with no visible creasing or spine stress; the David Mack painted cover retains vivid color with no fading. Slight edge wear cannot be ruled out due to the protective sleeve reflecting light, and the book is in a plastic bag which slightly obscures fine detail. Interior and back cover were not assessed, so grade is based solely on the visible front cover.

Daredevil #19 of the 1998 Marvel Knights relaunch (volume 2) arrived in March 2001 during a transitional stretch of the series, following Kevin Smith's launch arc and David Mack's acclaimed 'Parts of a Hole' storyline. By this point the book was being written by Bob Gale with art by Phil Winslade, continuing the street-level, noir-inflected tone the Marvel Knights line had established for Matt Murdock. The issue sits ahead of Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev's celebrated run, which would redefine the title later in 2001, and it does not carry a first appearance, death, or other landmark creative event of its own.
Market activity for this issue is thin. Certified population remains small, with only a handful of universal copies graded and just a couple of recorded sales at the top of the census, none surpassing 9.8. That scarcity of transactions, rather than deep collector demand, is what shapes the pricing curve here: raw copies in low and mid grades carry little premium since bulk modern-era Marvel Knights issues remain plentiful in the direct market, while the small pool of top-graded slabs commands a modest but real premium simply because so few have been certified.
This is a book for completists of the Daredevil volume 2 run or specialists assembling a full Marvel Knights-era set rather than a headline acquisition. Raw copies in any presentable grade are inexpensive and easy to source. High-grade certified examples see occasional interest from census-chasers and Bendis/Maleev-run collectors filling out the surrounding issues, but pricing is driven more by rarity of certification than by story significance, and the ceiling remains modest compared to the title's genuine landmark issues.
