Cover shows strong gloss and vibrant color with sharp corners. There are a couple of small stress lines/scuffs near the top left near the DC bullet and a faint crease line visible through the bat-symbol area. Edges appear mostly clean with minor handling wear at the top edge. Book is in a protective sleeve which limits close inspection of spine ticks; interior and back cover were not assessed.

Batman #410 (August 1987) is the third chapter of "Batman: Year Two," the four-part story by writer Mike W. Barr that served as a direct follow-up to Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's celebrated Year One. The issue is best remembered for introducing the Reaper, a vigilante whose brutal methods echo and complicate the mythology of Bruce Wayne's origin, and for its interior art by Todd McFarlane, drawn shortly before he became one of the most sought-after artists in the industry on Amazing Spider-Man and later Spawn. The painted covers for the arc, associated with Bill Sienkiewicz, gave the storyline a distinctive visual identity apart from the standard house style of the period.
