// Archive commentary
Batman #185 (DC Comics, 1966) is 80-Page Giant G-27, an all-Robin collection of reprinted Batman and Robin stories, among them "Batman, Junior" from Detective Comics #231, published during the surge of Batmania that followed the ABC television series' January 1966 debut. Like most DC 80-Page Giants, it is a reprint issue, collected for its themed contents and its place in a complete Batman run rather than for any first appearance.
