There is minor surface wear at the spine near the top and bottom edges, and a slight bend/soft crease line visible on the right edge of the cover. Amazing Adventures #34 arrives late in Don McGregor's Killraven serial, the dystopian War of the Worlds sequel Marvel ran as a rotating backup feature through the mid-1970s. McGregor's dense, novelistic captioning and the moody, painterly linework of P. Craig Russell (whose run on the title is frequently cited as among the most visually ambitious mainstream Marvel work of the era) define this stretch of issues, with Killraven, M'Shulla, and Old Skull continuing their guerrilla war against the Martian invaders. The issue carries no first appearance, death, or other landmark event, and its significance rests on its place within a well-regarded but commercially modest cult series rather than on any single defining moment.

Market data reflects a low-demand, low-population back issue: a 46-copy Universal census spread thinly across grades, sparse recorded sales at every tier, and FMVs that stay flat through the mid grades before climbing only at the very top of the census. The CGC 5.0 comp near $18 and the 9.8 ceiling near $100 show a book with almost no premium for raw mid-grade copies but a real, if modest, spike for pristine slabs, consistent with a title collected primarily for its McGregor/Russell creative pedigree rather than speculative key-issue demand.

This is a McGregor/Killraven completist's book: Bronze Age sci-fi readers assembling the full run, Russell art collectors, and dealers rounding out Amazing Adventures sets are the natural buyers. Raw copies in low and mid grade trade cheaply and slowly, largely as reading or run-filling copies, while top-census 9.8 slabs command a real but not dramatic premium given how few exist; it is not a book that draws bidding outside its niche readership.
