Front cover shows moderate wear consistent with a 1961 Silver Age book: soft rounded corners, a visible crease/soft spine roll along the left edge, small chips and granularity along the top and right edges, and light surface soiling especially in the yellow background. There is writing/pencil marks near the top of the logo ('D.' and other faint pen marks). No major tears or missing pieces are visible, but the overall wear pattern and edge fraying limit the grade. Interior pages and back cover were not assessed.

Amazing Adventures #1 (August 1970) launched Marvel's split-format anthology title, giving Jack Kirby a platform to continue his Inhumans saga just as he was preparing to depart the company, while pairing it with a Black Widow solo feature written by Gary Friedrich and pencilled by John Buscema. The Black Widow strip presented Natasha Romanoff in her sleek all-black costume and cemented her transition from Iron Man/Avengers supporting player to headlining spy-adventurer, arriving the same season Marvel was more broadly repositioning the character. Kirby's Inhumans pages, meanwhile, are among his last regular Marvel superhero work before his move to DC, giving the issue added weight for Kirby-run collectors even though it is not a first appearance of either strip's leads.

Market activity is driven mainly by Bronze Age Marvel completists, Black Widow character collectors riding the character's ongoing media visibility, and Kirby specialists rounding out his final Marvel output. Sales volume is healthy across the mid-to-high grade tiers (double-digit sales at 6.5 through 8), and price step-ups are pronounced once a copy clears 8.0, reflecting a population that thins out quickly above that point. The complete absence of any 9.2 or higher census copies indicates this book was not preserved in bulk at the newsstand level, making high-grade examples scarce relative to demand rather than genuinely rare in absolute terms.

This is a strong mid-tier Bronze Age pickup: affordable in low and mid grade for character-completist collections, but a copy graded 9.6 or better would be a notable event for the book given the current census gap at the top end. Entry-level buyers gravitate to the sub-$300 raw market, while advanced Kirby and Black Widow collectors compete more seriously once a copy crosses into the 8.0+ range, where certified population drops off sharply and each sale tends to reset expectations for the next.
