Worlds Unknown was a short-lived Marvel anthology built around comics adaptations of published prose science fiction, and issue #7 (June 1974) turned to Harlan Ellison's Hugo and Nebula-nominated novella "A Boy and His Dog," bringing the post-apocalyptic pairing of Vic and the telepathic dog Blood to comics form for the first time.
