Cover shows strong gloss and vibrant color with sharp corners and no visible creases or spine stress lines. A faint diagonal line/impression is visible across the skull graphic which may be a subtle crease or printing artifact, and there is a small price sticker in the upper right corner that could leave residue if removed. No tears, edge chipping, or color breaks are apparent along the visible edges. Interior pages and back cover were not assessed.

Daredevil #373, cover-dated March 1998, carries "Weight of the World," scripted by Joe Kelly from a co-plot with Ben Raab, with pencils and cover art by Richie Acosta and inks by Bud LaRosa. The issue advances Kelly's Mr. Fear storyline as Matt Murdock works to expose Lawrence Cranston while the killer Charlie Borroughs stalks Candace Nelson; Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Rosalind Sharpe appear in support, with a flashback cameo of the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider. It sits in the final stretch of the original 1964 series, seven issues before the Scott Lobdell-scripted wrap-up at #380 and the Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada relaunch that followed later in 1998.
Market profile is that of an ordinary late-run modern issue. Print runs and newsstand distribution had contracted sharply by 1998, so the title was reaching a small direct-market audience, but the same period produced very little collector demand, and the two forces largely cancel out: raw copies trade in dealer back-issue and dollar-box channels rather than through auction houses. Certified examples are uncommon simply because few owners consider the book worth submitting, and what certified value exists reflects the cost and scarcity of the slab rather than any recognized key content. The Kelly run has been reprinted in collected form, further limiting reader-driven pressure on original copies.
Buyers are almost entirely run collectors completing Daredevil volume one, along with a smaller group of Joe Kelly completists and registry builders chasing high-grade sets from the 1997-1998 stretch. Across grades the spread is compressed – low- and mid-grade raw copies are effectively interchangeable at back-issue prices, and meaningful separation appears only at the top of the grade scale, where a census-quality certified copy commands a multiple driven by set-building rather than speculation. Anyone acquiring at that top end should expect thin liquidity and long hold times.
