World's Finest Comics #136 (DC, cover-dated September 1963) is a Silver Age installment of the long-running anthology title pairing Superman and Batman (with Robin) in a lead team-up story, backed by solo Green Arrow and other supporting features typical of the era's format. The book falls within the Curt Swan/George Klein house style period that defined DC's clean, classic superhero art of the early 1960s, with plotting credited to regular Editor Jack Schiff-era writers such as Edmond Hamilton. It carries no first appearance, origin, or death of note, and its cover, while representative of the period's team-up formula, is not among the covers cited as a classic by major price guides.
