Fantastic Four #67 concludes the two-part storyline begun in issue #66, in which the mysterious scientific cabal known as the Enclave unveils its ultimate creation: a golden-skinned humanoid called Him. Conceived and rendered by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at the height of their Fantastic Four run, with inks by Joe Sinnott, the issue marks the first appearance of a character who would be renamed and expanded years later as Adam Warlock, one of Marvel's more enduring cosmic figures. The story folds neatly into the title's mid-1960s expansion into science-fantasy and cosmic themes, territory the Lee-Kirby FF had been steadily colonizing since the introduction of Galactus and the Silver Surfer just a few issues earlier.

Market data shows a book with heavy population and broad collector penetration: several hundred certified copies populate the mid grades, keeping raw low- and mid-grade pricing modest and largely flat across a wide band from about 1.5 to 4.0. Demand sharpens considerably at the high end, where the population thins dramatically above 9.4 and pricing accelerates in a non-linear curve, culminating in a pronounced premium at 9.8. That premium is driven by Adam Warlock's continued relevance across Marvel crossovers and his live-action introduction in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which has kept first-appearance material for the character in active collector demand independent of the FF's own fanbase.

The book functions as an accessible entry point for character-first-appearance collectors and as a steady mid-tier hold for Silver Age FF completists. Lower and mid-grade copies trade as commodity back issues, priced by condition rather than narrative significance, and are readily available given the large certified and raw population. High-grade census copies, by contrast, are pursued more aggressively by specialists chasing Warlock-adjacent keys and by top-end FF run builders, producing the wide value gap seen between mid grades and a 9.8 slab.
