Cover shows sharp corners and strong gloss with vivid color; spine appears tight with no visible stress lines or ticks in this photo. Book is protected in a plastic sleeve which may create minor glare but no creases, tears, or stains are evident. Slight softness at the top right corner is visible but overall the cover presents as high-grade. Interior and back cover were not assessed.

// Archive commentary
Published with a September 1994 cover date, War Machine #6 closes the two-part "Instant Karma's Gonna Get You!" storyline scripted by Len Kaminski and Scott Benson, with interior pencils by Gabriel Hardman (working under the Gabriel Gecko byline early in his career), inks by Pam Eklund, and a cover by Mark Bright and Eklund. The plot follows James Rhodes and Worldwatch operative Sheva Joseph into Cortena to confirm reports of a mass grave, only for Rhodes to be ambushed again by Deathtoll, and it advances the series' central thread: a hero built around lethal hardware confronting his own willingness to kill. The Worldwatch premise, which repositioned Rhodes as a human-rights enforcer rather than a Stark employee, gives this run a distinct identity within the mid-1990s Iron Man family of titles, and the issue was later collected in War Machine Classic alongside #1-7.
